Burlington Lakeview

These homeowners wanted to craft a beautiful, serene method of handling driveway runoff for this site perched over Lake Champlain. They have been working with Church Hill Landscapes on and off since 2011. Originally conceptualized and designed by Wagner Hodgson Landscape Architecture, the design incorporates a one-of-a-kind combination of Vermont granite curbing, clay brick, and bluestone for the driveway.  Mass plantings of ornamental grasses—including Calamogrostis, Miscanthus, and Schizachyrium—soften the edges of the property and help it blend into a landscape spanning earth and water.
