Our hard working crew renovated the Edmunds School historic campus built in 1903 in downtown Burlington. In collaboration with a team of partners, this complex and sophisticated landscape construction project created an accessible, welcoming and aesthetically pleasing public space that serves over 600 students and their families. The goals included creating a centralized entrance, changes in grade for accessibility and to prevent flooding, stormwater mitigation, and the removal and replacement of unused lawn. The completed project aggrandized the architecture of the buildings and beautified the entire neighborhood. For this achievement, we won the 2024 Landscape Award from the Vermont Nursery & Landscape Association.
